We won’t suggest a camp or lodge to you unless one of us has been there. We have walked with the guides, eaten food and slept in the beds. We travel every few months to see new properties and to revisit old favorites. We look at numerous camps on trips. It is only by actually seeing what is out there that we can be sure we are offering you the best advice. Where possible, we will use small, camps and lodges so you can experience the bush away from the crowds.

Justin Solomon Laizer, CEO
Meet Justin Solomon Laizer, the visionary Founder and CEO of Tembo Adventure & Safari Ltd. Born into the renowned Maasai tribe in Mto Wa Mbu village, nestled in the Great Rift Valley – Manyara area, Justin’s passion for guiding tourists to Tanzania’s and East Africa’s major National Parks began in his teenage years. This passion led him to pursue courses in tour guiding and subsequently work in the tourism industry since 1998. With extensive experience and a dedication to exceptional traveler care, Justin founded Tembo Adventure & Safari in 2015. Under his leadership, the company has served hundreds of satisfied customers globally. Justin’s leadership style focuses on inspiring and motivating his team to deliver personalized, first-hand service, ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable safari experience.
Meet the Operation Manager
Cindy M. Tolbert - Operations Manager
Cindy M. Tolbert, our dedicated Operations Manager, brings a wealth of experience and passion to Tembo Adventure and Safari. Hailing from Georgia, USA, Cindy’s love for animals blossomed during her studies at the University of Florida. She fondly recalls the thrill of spotting alligators on campus and watching bats emerge from the bat house at night.
After earning her BS in Microbiology, Cindy moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she devoted her time to volunteering at the Georgia Aquarium for seven years and Zoo Atlanta for one year. Her deep respect for nature and wildlife naturally led her to pursue a career that aligns with her passions.
In addition to her scientific background, Cindy holds an MBA and is a Certified Travel Agent from the Travel Institute. She also brings valuable corporate experience, having worked as an Engineer for a top Fortune 50 company for over nine years. This combination of wildlife enthusiasm and corporate knowledge makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
