Day 01 – Nairobi- Kenya

Upon arrival in Nairobi, Kenya, your host will be on hand at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport to welcome you with a warm smile, assist and escort your hotel. Its location makes it ideal for travelers arriving in Nairobi late night or those heading home after a wonderful safari away from the hustle and bustle of one of Africa’s most vibrant capital cities. Take some time to explore the wide range of dining experiences as you relax and unwind after your flight. If you’re ready for sleep, you’ll immediately relax in your comfortable room, with its fine linens.

Day 02 – Nairobi Excursion

Breakfast at your hotel, our tour rep will meet you to officially welcome you and give you a brief about your safari. In the mid-morning, proceed for a heart-warming visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Here you will witness the heroic efforts of the dedicated team who rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves and other vulnerable animals. This extraordinary place plays a pivotal role in protecting the wilderness and offers a beautiful experience, as well as the opportunity to adopt an orphaned elephant. Visiting hours for Daphne Sheldrick Elephant is  1100-1200 / Private visit 1500 / Foster parents visit 1700 (The last two need advance booking at an extra cost).

Your next stop will take you to the renowned Giraffe Centre, where you will be given a rare opportunity to get up close to these gentle giants in this natural sanctuary, which was founded by Jock Leslie-Melville, the Kenyan grandson of a Scottish earl, to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffe. You can climb at the top of a platform and stand eye to eye with the giraffes, feed them small pellets or go for a gentle meander on a serene forest trail.

Break for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Karen Blixen Museum for a glimpse into the fascinating world of the pioneer coffee farmer, who achieved world fame through her highly acclaimed memoir, “Out of Africa”. She left Africa after a series of personal tragedies and her lovely colonial house has been preserved as a museum. Set in expansive gardens, the Karen Blixen Museum is an interesting place to wander around. Dinner at carnivore restaurant. Return to the hotel for overnight

Day 03- Samburu National Reserve

Pick up from your hotel, pick up and drive through coffee, tea and pineapple plantations in central park of Kenya. The drive crosses the equator point in Nanyuki, pass through Laikipia famously known area for its expansive conservancies and high end lodges. Proceed to arrive in time for check in and hot lunch. After brief leisure and the weather has cooled off leave for an afternoon game viewing. The animals in the Samburu National Reserve include the Beisa Oryx, long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and Gravy’s zebra. You will be able to watch velvet monkeys and crocodiles that bask along the river banks.

Day 04 – Samburu National Reserve

Early morning game drive viewing. Be sure to have your cameras on standby as chances are very high you are going to witness the big cats in action as the temperatures are cool thus the predators are active. Return to the lodge for breakfast at the lodge. In the midmorning you will visit a local village where you will interact with the Samburu people, learn their ways of life ad participate in some of their day to day activities. Return to the lodge for hot lunch. In the late afternoon depart for a game viewing drive in search of the Samburu special five species. Drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 05 – Samburu National Reserve /Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast this morning, it will be time to head out to Lake Nakuru National Park, with a stopover at the Thomson’s falls for lunch at Panari Hotel Nyahururu. Proceed to arrive at the park in time for afternoon game viewing. The park serves as Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and is home to both white and black species. Protection is also offered to rare Rothschild giraffes – a 188-km area around the lake is fenced off to protect them.  You’ll also be able to explore the beautiful Malaika Waterfall and, of course, Lake Nakuru.  In the evening, you will enjoy splendid views from the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, designed to blend in with the terrain.  The rustic African décor perfectly blends comfort with adventure, and the restaurant offers the finest in local and international cuisines in a relaxed setting.

Day 06 – Lake Nakuru National Park/ Masai Mara Game Reserve

Breakfast at your lodge and check out. Drive through the rift valley with a stopover along the way. You will proceed with journey to arrive at the greatest reserve in the world, the Masai Mara in time for check in and hot lunch. In the late afternoon proceed with your first game drive viewing in search of the resident predators and preys. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara is the World Cup of Wildlife viewing, commonly referred as the 7th wonder of the world. Masai Mara is located the Southwest of Kenya, Masai Mara is a vast and scenic African savannah plains. Its boarders Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the South. Masai Mara is a unique wildlife conservation haven, famous for its spectacular natural diversity of wildlife and it’s a premier safari destination, offering visitors many reasons to visit this paradise. There are large numbers of lions, cheetahs, elephants and leopards, zebras and many more roam here freely, in their natural habitat.

Day 07 – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Spend your next Safari day exploring a region bestowed with over 500 square miles of savannas, woodlands and tree-fringed rivers. You shall traverse Masai Mara reserve on unlimited game viewing, encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Masai Mara is flooded with Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife, owing to migrators like lions, cheetahs, the Gazelles, wildebeest and zebras. Predators and preys bound unto one another inhabit this savannah land of Mara.  Lunch is to be enjoyed within the wide expanses of the Mara Reserve, literally in the midst of the nature. Today you will have a visit to Masai Village for a cultural experience. (Optional activity available at an extra cost include Hot Air Balloon ride over Mara eco-system).

Day 08 – Masai Mara Game Reserve / Fly Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at your camp. Transfer to the airstrip for your mid-morning scheduled (1130/1200Hrs) flight to Migori; on arrival connect another scheduled flight (1200/1300Hrs) to Serengeti Central. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by and picked by our guide, who will transfer you to your lodge with an enroute game viewing. Check in and lunch. Afternoon game viewing at the park. Dinner and overnight

Day 09 -Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day in the famous Serengeti National Park for game viewing drive. You will arrange with our professional driver guide to have full days with lunch boxes to explore the park to full end. The vast Serengeti plains cover an area of over 14,763 square kilometers and during the months of the migration, is the habitat of huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle with estimates of up to 1.5 million. The Serengeti “Kopjes”, massive boulder islands of granite standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik-dik.

Day 10 – Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Breakfast at the lodge. Check out with an enroute game drive as you depart Serengeti. Continue to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCCA), which features rolling plains, lakes, craters, mountains and dormant volcanoes. Descend into the ‘8th Wonder of the World’, a unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Enclosed within its towering walls are grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans, a fresh water lake and a glorious variety of birdlife. Here too are all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo) as well as a large cast of plains game and one of Africa’s densest populations of predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before driving back to your lodge for relaxation before dinner.

Day 11 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area/ Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast at your lodge. Depart with your picnic lunch and head to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is truly a photographer’s playground and offers some of the best game viewing in the world. You can expect to see many of Africa’s most well-known animals, with the tree-climbing lions a particular treat. These proud predators lounge in acacia trees practically begging to be photographed. Bird-watchers will find Lake Manyara is an absolute delight, with a huge variety of birds on display in the park. Even the novice can expect to be amazed by large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the brightly colored lilac breasted roller. In the early evening check out and drive to Arusha for overnight.

Day 12 – Lake Manyara National Park /Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at your hotel.  Later drive to Tanzania/Kenya Namanga border and after clearing with immigration proceed to Kenyan side where you will meet by our professional driver guide and drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for check-in and hot lunch.

Enjoy the facilities here or take a dip in the pool as you feast your eyes with the breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later proceed for a game viewing drive, be sure to spot some of the big tusked jumbos walking majestically and other wild animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13 – Amboseli National Park

The day starts with an early morning game viewing where you’ll see white rhinos, big tusked elephants, big cats, wildebeests, zebras and many other species. If the skies are clear you will have clear views of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Amazingly, the sites you see in the morning will be quite different from those you’ll see on the afternoon game drive as the various creatures respond to their unique biological clocks. Depending on the time of year, the terrain will vary from snows of Kilimanjaro to the hot dry summer to the life-giving rainy season – but it will always be beautiful. The routes taken will depend on weather conditions but they are all offer unforgettable sceneries, so keep your camera ready. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 14 – Amboseli National Park /Nairobi/ depart

Breakfast at your lodge.  Later drive to Nairobi arrive to Carnivore restaurant for lunch.  Later in the afternoon transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight

  • Activity: Road transfer to Nairobi. Drop off at JKIA for departure flight.
