Detailed Itinerary: 05 Days / 04 Nights
Day 01: Arrival Day – Arusha City
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and after clearing all customs and immigrations formalities, you will be met by our representative who will be having your group name on a paging board at the arrival lounge. You will be transferred to Arusha for overnight Kibo Palace Hotel.
Day 02: Arusha – Serengeti NP .
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for connection onto morning flight to Central Serengeti where upon landing you will be met by your driver guide and proceed with game drive. This park is the most famous of Tanzania’s National Parks as it is well-known for the annual migration which takes place across the great savannah plains and rivers. We carry lunch boxes so as to make most use of the day. We will focus on chasing the big cats which include; leopard, lion, cheetah, and many others. We later drive to Tanzania Bush Camp for diner and overnight
Day 03: Serengeti NP
Enjoy a full day doing the spectacular game in Serengeti National Park. This park never disappoints as it has one of the most varied collections of wildlife on the planet. Annually throughout a year, millions of animals embark on migration in Serengeti with incredible spectacle. Vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo, as the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals. Meals and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 04: Serengeti NP – Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast, we embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti NP as we drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area to overnight at our lodge on the rim of the Crater. There will be an optional stop at a Maasai village / Olduvai Gorge Museum (at extra fee) en route to your lodge. In the Maasai villages, you will enjoy dancing and singing their folk songs and learn more about their culture. At the Olduvai Gorge Museum, you will learn more about the early fossils of mankind discovered by Dr. Leaky and his wife. Diner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Day 05: Crater Tour – Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, We shall descend into the largest intact volcanic Crater in the world which is also called “The Eighth Wonder Of The World”. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the ‘big 5′ which include; lion, elephant, rare black rhino, buffalo and leopard. Picnic lunch will be at the Hippo Pool on the crater floor. After lunch, drive to Arusha for drop off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for connection onto your international flight out.
