We won’t suggest a camp or lodge to you unless one of us has been there. We have walked with the guides, eaten food and slept in the beds. We travel every few months to see new properties and to revisit old favorites. We look at numerous camps on trips. It is only by actually seeing what is out there that we can be sure we are offering you the best advice. Where possible, we will use small, camps and lodges so you can experience the bush away from the crowds.

Justin Solomon Laizer, CEO
Meet Justin Solomon Laizer, the visionary Founder and CEO of Tembo Adventure & Safari Ltd. Born into the renowned Maasai tribe in Mto Wa Mbu village, nestled in the Great Rift Valley – Manyara area, Justin’s passion for guiding tourists to Tanzania’s and East Africa’s major National Parks began in his teenage years. This passion led him to pursue courses in tour guiding and subsequently work in the tourism industry since 1998. With extensive experience and a dedication to exceptional traveler care, Justin founded Tembo Adventure & Safari in 2015. Under his leadership, the company has served hundreds of satisfied customers globally. Justin’s leadership style focuses on inspiring and motivating his team to deliver personalized, first-hand service, ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable safari experience.

Cindy M Tolbert, MBA,CTA
At the heart of our operations is Cindy M. Tolbert, our Operations Manager, who brings a unique blend of corporate expertise and heartfelt passion for wildlife to Tembo Adventure and Safari. With an MBA, Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designation, and a background as a Developer at a Fortune 20 company, Cindy combines strategic thinking with a deep commitment to guest experience. Her volunteer work at the Georgia Aquarium and Zoo Atlanta ignited a lifelong love for animals and conservation, making her transition into the safari industry both natural and purposeful. Today, she channels her leadership, organizational skills, and love for tourism into creating seamless, enriching, and unforgettable journeys for every Tembo guest.
